Mission Statement

Wedding Matters has been set up to realize the joint desire of it’s Directors who share a passion for providing engaged couples the advantage of professional wedding planning, practice and understanding they have developed during the past fifteen years in the hospitality and events industry.

Previously the Directors have worked for leading companies in hospitality and events in London, SW England, USA, Canada, Australia and the Baltic States.

Wedding Matters is a National Wedding Company specialising in helping busy couples save time, stress and money creating unique weddings. The company is a service company committed to our mission of exceeding the expectations of our clients by committing to exceptional standards and by achieving the highest levels of satisfaction, with extraordinary emphasis on the creation of value for our clients.

Samm Riley – Director and Wedding Consultant

Samm has worked in Hospitality and Event Management for almost twenty years working as a General Manager before creating Wedding Matters in 2003.

Samm has extensive experience producing and managing sophisticated weddings with the Crème de la Crème of award winning UK wedding suppliers.

Samm contributes regularly within the media as a recognised and respected industry expert.

Bernie Riley - Director and Business Development Manager  

Bernie is responsible for business development liasing with suppliers to maximise opportunities for our clients through established relationships with only the very best wedding suppliers.  

Our knowledge of the industry gives us regular feedback on suppliers and the service standards they provide for their clients.  Suppliers like to work with Wedding Matters as our experience and professional standards often reduce their workload providing savings in costs and overheads which we are then passed on to our clients.  

Wedding Matters are constantly being approached with ideas, opportunities and new ways to provide added value to our clients. 

Leane Bramhall - Marketing Manager

Leane is a Wedding Matters Associate and is a marketing whizz, we could not do without her intelligent and reasoned rhetoric. She recently won an award for entrepreneurism and is going great guns with her business Lime Juice Marketing.

Lynn Stewart - Bridal Stylist and Personal Image Consultant

Lynn is a Wedding Matters Associate supplying our clients with an exclusive, invaluable styling service. Lynn will show you how to choose wedding attire which will not only suit you, but also bring out the best in you by complimenting your colouring, body shape, proportions and personal style.

Our Team

We have a number of event assistants on whom we rely to help deliver our events, no man is an island and wedding coordination requires intelligent staff who are able to think on their feet and are indepently and jointly able to make things happen. Each member of our team eminates these qualities and has something personal to add.
